Abstract

With the advent and proliferation of World Wide Web, Electronic Commerce (EC) on Internet has become one of the most rapidly growing areas and has been the major part of current researches. However, for the full potential of EC on Internet, there exist some obstacles: explosion of WWW, distributed and heterogeneous online markets, and user¡¯s effort to find and purchase products and so on. Especially, as the electronic data is increased, a user has a big burden to find what he wants to. To solve these problems, though there are a number of research systems that help users, they still have no way to adapt and filter information for each individual user. In this paper, we proposed new product finding system named I-Pro (Intelligent Product finding system for Electronic Commerce) that is an autonomous product finding and filtering system to support user from requirement acquisition to supplying product information.
