Dr. Andre Stochniol is the Director of European Commerce Management Practice of CSC Computer Sciences.  His work centres on business development, visioning and strategy, creating and overseeing new client ventures.  He also engages in creating new business models, as well as in prioritising and managing technology-related investment opportunities for large companies. 


Last year his brainchild was Vertor, a vertical e-Business accelerator. From February to May 2000 he was the CEO designate of this new venture to be jointly created by a top financial services group in the UK, a leading venture capital group and CSC.


Before dedicating his working life to management consulting, Andre was the founder and director of a company specialising in Internet technologies and before that worked for 15 years on leading edge computational research projects in several countries, also consulting for different industries and lecturing at various Universities.
